Wonderbra model as 'Cinderella'
- Eva Herzigova says she wants to direct a movie about her Cinderella-like life, a Hong Kong magazine reports in its January issue. The Czech supermodel, who shot to fame in the 1990s with the Miss Wonderbra ad campaign, talked about her directing ambitions in an interview with Prestige Hong Kong. "I would like to direct a movie, but not a glossy feature film. I am thinking it would be more like a full-length documentary type of movie about my life," the 32-year-old Herzigova was quoted as saying. "It would definitely be autobiographical. It would be about a girl from the Eastern bloc who makes it in the fashion world. You know, a Cinderella story," she said. Kidman hasn't even acknowledged that she's dating the country music star, but Life & Style weekly is reporting that the couple has sent out invitations to her Aussie friends for a wedding. Kidman's rep couldn't be reached for comment, and a professional associate of Kidman told the Scoop, "I haven't heard anything about that." But an "insider" told L&S, "Nicole's friends in Australia have received their invitations, and the wedding's happening this coming weekend. Tori Spelling is engaged,
just months after separating from her first husband, People and Us Weekly magazines reported Tuesday. Actor Dean McDermott, who has been dating the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star for several months, proposed Christmas Eve in Toronto. "We're so incredibly happy and in love. We cannot wait to start our lives together," the couple said in a joint statement to People. Us Weekly first reported the engagement. Calls by The Associated Press to Spelling's publicist Tuesday weren't immediately returned. Spelling, 32, and McDermott, 39, met earlier this year while working on the TV movie "Mind Over Murder." In October, actor-writer Charlie Shanian filed for divorce from Spelling, a little more than a year after they were married. McDermott filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Mary Jo Eustace, in September. They have one child together. San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker was cited for impeding traffic
and failing to produce a valid Texas driver's license during a traffic stop in which "Desperate Housewives" actress Eva Longoria was his passenger, police said. The incident happened about 12:45 a.m. Saturday. After seeing a car stopped, a bicycle officer said it was impeding traffic. When the car didn't move, the officer rapped the hood with the palm of his hand, according to a police report. Parker, who was behind the wheel, questioned why the officer touched the car, and the couple "began screaming in a verbally abusive and demeaning manner," police said. Longoria called the police report "highly inaccurate." Police say Parker then began to drive away, almost hitting a man standing nearby. After being told to stop and get out, Parker showed a French driver's license, police said. The officer who wrote the citations said Parker complained: "This is all the cops do, just mess with people," and that Longoria shouted from the car: "He's just a Mexican bike cop. He only wants your autograph." Longoria denied making the comment. "It's a shame that one officer conducted himself in such an inappropriate and disorderly manner. Newspaper Hands Kate Moss Video to Police
The tabloid that printed images allegedly showing Kate Moss snorting cocaine has turned over the videotape to police, a senior staffer at the newspaper said Thursday. Moss lost contracts with H&M, Burberry and Chanel after the Daily Mirror published the pictures in September. The 31-year-old supermodel later apologized to "all the people I have let down" and checked into an Arizona rehabilitation clinic. Police said at the time they would investigate the allegations, taking into account the impact on impressionable young people. No one at the Daily Mirror was willing to comment on the record, but a senior staffer who refused to be identified said the newspaper had turned over the secretly captured video to police under a judge's orders. "Austin Powers" star Mike Myers and his wife, Robin Ruzan, are ending their 12-year marriage, a spokeswoman said Friday.
"They remain committed and caring friends," publicist Ina Treciokas said in a statement. The 42-year-old actor-comedian and Ruzan, a writer and actress, were married in May 1993. They have no children.
